The 2018 May cycle of Elections to Council and Mindshare is in full swing. Voting officially began on Thursday, May 31st, and ends on Wednesday, June 6th at 23:59:59 UTC. Voting takes place on the Voting application website. The Fedora Project Wiki is a helpful tool for the Fedora community. It is a public “whiteboard” with information about Fedora, its community, and its contributors. New wiki pages are like a clean whiteboard space for a meeting. The flexibility is useful for collaborative planning or frequent logging of information. The wiki doesn’t offer great support for durable documents, but they are more spontaneous and convenient.
The Fedora Wiki uses default MediaWiki markup language. MediaWiki is easy to use and made popular by Wikipedia. It is similar but more simple than writing HTML for web pages.
Wednesday, 2018-04-04 is the Fedora 28 Rust Test Day! As part of change we’ll be testing some of the application written with rust.
