Infrastructure & Release Engineering

The purpose of this team is to take care of day to day business regarding CentOS and Fedora Infrastructure and Fedora release engineering work.
It’s responsible for services running in Fedora and CentOS infrastructure and preparing things for the new Fedora release (mirrors, mass branching, new namespaces etc.).

Fedora Infra

• Spam on fedora-devel
• fedora.ipacct.com mirror has Rawhide packages with incorrect signature
• Add releng-bot to cvsadmin group on staging distgit
• Add new sponsors to sysadmin-coreos
• Group for DNS TAPIR
• Please kick Randy DuCharme from mailing lists
• Outage: Upgrade of Copr servers – 2025-09-17 08:00 UTC
• HTTP 500 when viewing held messages for private list rocm-packagers-sig
• Fedora-CI `dist-git-trigger` jobs fail to trigger

CentOS Infra including CentOS CI

• Migrate testing.stream.centos.org infra to AWS
• hyperscale c10 builds even though the build tasks were a success
• Requesting ability to target RHEL build roots for Hyperscale
• [CBS] systemd packages tagged as testing have not been published to mirrors for a few days
• onboard new sponsor/machine in our infra
• rebuild selinux-policy for el10 into infra tags
• Please create sig-messaging namespace
• PV creation request on CentOS Infra Cluster
• I’m seeing a LARGE amount of 404 errors hitting my mirror looking for CentOS 7.9
