Kernel 5.1 Test Week starting 2019-05-13

Monday, 2019-05-13 through Friday 2019-05-18 is the Kernel 5.1 Test Week!

Test Days/Weeks are planned events when a specific feature is tested and the community tries to report issues. Kernel being one of most crucial bit of the system, testing it for a significant amount of time is very necessary!

Why Test Kernel?

The kernel team is working on Kernel 5.1.  This version was just recently released, and will arrive soon in Fedora.
This version will also be the shipping Kernel for Fedora 29, 30 and upcoming pre-release Fedora 31. So it’s to see whether it’s working well enough and catch any remaining issues.
It’s also pretty easy to join in: all you’ll need is an iso (which you can grab from the wiki page).

We need your help!

All the instructions are on the wiki page, so please read through and come help us test! As always, the event will be in #fedora-test-day on Freenode IRC.
