Outreachy 2016 rounds and Fedora

GNOME Outreachy is a global program that offers historically underrepresented students of gender and race stipends to write code for several participating FOSS organizations. Applicants must be able to make the project their primary focus during the internship. Participants work remotely from home, while getting guidance from an assigned mentor and collaborating within their project’s community.

Fedora Outreachy Application Window Closed

Outreachy application window closed

On Monday, November 2nd, the Fedora Outreachy internship application period officially ended. Fedora was seeking to fill two positions in the Project, one to assist on development of the upcoming Fedora Hubs web application and another to assist with community operations. Selection decisions will be posted on November 17th! Best of luck to all of our applicants.
