Earlier this year, we announced the initial availability of discounted Lenovo ThinkPad laptops with Fedora Workstation. This discount was available to US and Canada for all Fedora contributors with “CLA +1“. Today, I’m excited to announce that Lenovo has expanded the discount to much of Europe!

To get this discount, log in to the country-appropriate portal with your @fedoraproject.org email address.

If your country is not listed that’s likely because we don’t have a web ecommerce presence there (e.g Poland). Let me know if you think that’s not the case and I can dig but I don’t yet have a way to get discounts for anything that is not done via e-commerce.

You’ll likely also notice that Linux systems aren’t up in Europe yet; I’m still working hard on that one and making progress. The sales teams in Europe really want to get Linux up but we’re just wrangling with some Lenovo process that is grinding along slowly.
