We’re excited to share our Quarterly Reports from Q1 to Q3 2025. From January to September, we’ve welcomed new members to the DEI team, hosted the Fedora Mentor Summit (FMS), joined Outreachy, connected during Fedora Social Calls, and worked on our Event DEI Location Policy. Here’s a quick look back at what we’ve accomplished together so far this year!

Fedora Mentor Summit (FMS)

The Fedora Mentor Summit was held in person at Flock to Fedora 2025 in Prague, Czech Republic, and it was a great opportunity to connect and share. Some of the highlights included:

Not a goodbye, wrapping up my Fedora Project DEI internship

This isn’t a goodbye. I have mixed feelings about this, but it’s not the end. My Outreachy internship with the Fedora Project DEI team is wrapping up, but I’m here to stay. I remember my first discourse post, quoting from it: “… regardless of the outcome, I’m here to stay!” Yes, I meant it.

It’s been an awesome journey working with the community, contributing to projects that matter, and learning along the way. I’m grateful to everyone who supported me, and a special thanks goes to my mentor, Jona Azizaj.

Here’s a look at what I’ve been working on recently:

Fedora Project is participating in this round of Outreachy as a mentoring organization. We asked our Outreachy interns to tell us some things about themselves! Here are they, in their own words.

Taking farther strides now – An Outreachy Blog about Revamping Meetbot Logs

I cannot help but feel a little nostalgic while writing this last blog post about my Outreachy internship. This post marks the end of my three-month internship where I worked with the community members to revamp the web application housing IRC meeting logs and summaries. I cannot believe how the time flew by – from applying, to getting selected, to contributing, and finally ending the journey. So today, I would be summarising my overall experience of this beautiful journey and will introduce the people who have helped me throughout the way.
