Questions
Is there a specific task or issue you think that Mindshare should address this term?
A task/issue that is very important I think is the communication between teams, not only between outreach teams like Ambassadors, Marketing, CoomOps etc but also with technical teams (FESCo). In this way every team will be informed, updated with the latest news and at the same page, because their activities are well-connected with each other. I’m pretty sure that Mindshare will do the best to work on this issue and avoid the lack of communication between different teams.
Please elaborate on the personal “Why” which motivates you to be a candidate for Mindshare.
Since the aim of Mindshare is to help outreach teams and my involvement in Fedora is mostly related to these teams, this was the reason why I wanted to join Mindshare. The responsibilities that Mindshare will have, will be very helpful for the outreach teams, here I’d like to mention the template that will be created for the ambassadors so they can work effectively and a short survey to see how many ambassadors we have active – which – was also one of the reasons why I joined FAmSCo and I’d like to continue this. I would also give a voice as a part of diversity team and help to solve issues if we will have any.
What are your thoughts on the impact (as an individual and then as a Mindshare group) that the group will have on the Fedora Mission?
I believe that my experience – as an individual and as part of Mindshare – will help outreach teams have a better communication with each other and with technical teams, in this way making the work more effectively to drive forward the Fedora mission. All the team working together, combining and channeling our efforts on the mission and difficulties that rise ahead, I think will help us emphasize and highlight the innovative platform we create for the community members.
