Questions

What’s your background in Fedora? What expertise do you bring based on past experience, and what projects are you actively involved in now?

Joined Fedora community in 2009, started contributing as Ambassador, translator, packager, former FAMSCO member. Main organizer of FudCon 2011 in Panama, share my Fedora community experience with many people allow me to form Fedora Panama team, helping all new members to get involve in Fedora task and contributions. Lead Latam Ambassadors as part of FAmSCo. Still involve as Ambassador and Packager.

What do you plan to accomplish on the Council? What are the most pressing issues facing Fedora today? What should we do about them?

As council member would like to get more people involve on contributions roles within Fedora. While IRC is our main communication platform many newcomers are getting into Telegram, which now is getting non official Fedora groups we need to address those groups as they may miss lead people, we may need to embrace official groups and have some policy rewarding not recognize groups. If a group is lead by a Fedora member and has IRC Telegram bridge we should recognize as official group.

What are your interests and accomplishments outside of Fedora? What of those things will help you in this role?

Will like to get more college and universities as part of the communities and get them involve into contributing to Open Source, on my region we need to get them more involve in Open Source technology and contributions.
