Questions

Why are you running for the Fedora Council?

I want to contribute a non Red Hat voice to the issues raised at the Council level, as a long-time Fedora user and contributor, as well as a member of the various communities that are both upstream and downstream to Fedora.

Why should people vote for you?

I will seek to maintain Council’s position as the only the final arbiter in any issues that arise, delegating and deferring to the competent committees as much as possible. The main focus of the Council should be to shape and guide the goals of the community as a whole, while staying mostly out of the technical implementation details.

What do you want to accomplish as a member of the Fedora Council?

I want to give the community more voice in the operation of the Fedora project, while recognizing the large influence of Red Hat due to its benefactor status.
