Questions

Why are you running for the Fedora Council?

I’m very interested in finding new ways to grow the contributor base and above all the retention of our long-term contributors. The Council is the best place to help people to solve any kind of problem than can affect our community.

I know that it is a great responsibility and also know then the time of my fellow contributors is very valuable so I don’t want to waste it. I will be in every meeting and commenting on every ticket doing always my best.

Why should people vote for you?

I think we can reproduce some ideas becoming from the experience of running the Monthly User/Contributors meetings in Mexico. Those experiences are helping me to grow as a contributor and my skills in teamwork. I’m feeling than I can do good work in the Council.

What do you want to accomplish as a member of the Fedora Council?

My goal is to propose actions that help us increase the number of active collaborators, particularly in packaging, design, and D&I; this will have an impact (at least in theory) on our user base.
