Questions

What is your background in Fedora? What have you worked on and what are you doing now?

I have been participating in Fedora community for a number of years. I started as one of the Fedora Ambassadors. I settled in working on Cloud a few years back and then found a job that really supported that work. Now I spend a lot of time working on the Cloud efforts.

Please elaborate on the personal “Why” which motivates you to be a candidate for Mindshare.

I had the opportunity to serve on the Mindshare committee last year after one of the members found it necessary to focus their efforts elsewhere. I found it very fulfilling to work with the team. There are a lot of challenges around building a strong community and I have always enjoyed being a part of that efforts. I think that I can continue that work again.

How would you improve Mindshare Committee visibility and awareness in the Fedora community?

I would like to bring some of the lessons learned from Ben Cotton to the program management and help Justin keep a strong plan of record with the milestons and tickets arranged in a way that is easily consumable. I think it would be great to have a list of events and a strong interconnection with Fedora Marketing to ensure that we have coverage and we know that we have solid plans for the editions to participate in the annual planning. Beyond that, I would like to help maintain the queue and ensure that there is reasonable support for the community architect and their vision.

What part of Fedora do you think needs the most attention from the Mindshare Committee during your term?
