As you probably know, there is annual convention called Flock. This year’s is happening in Cape Cod, Hyannis, MA and will begin the morning of Tuesday, August 29. Sessions will continue each day until midday on Friday, September 1.

System Containers: Concept, Creation, and Usage by Jason Brooks and Yu Qi Zhang
What is the goal of your session at Flock?
Present the concept of system containers, to raise awareness and usage for alternative container methods and functionality.
What does it affect in the project?
Mostly tailored towards the Fedora Atomic community, the users of the fedora container registry, and users of kube/origin.
What does your talk focus on?
Hands-on demos on how to use and build containers for specific use cases.
Without giving too much away, what can attendees expect to learn or do in your session?
Build and use system containers.
Who should attend?
People with an interest in the container field, Atomic Host, and those with an interest in kube/origin.
What do you do in Fedora/how long have you been involved in the project?
I am a member of the Fedora Atomic community, as well as a container maintainer in the fedora registry. I have been involved for a little over half a year.
What attracts you to this type of work or part of the project?
The awesome community and the constant new content.
