Good news! I’m excited to announce the return of Flock to Fedora, our annual contributor conference. Save the date so you can plan to join us 1–5 August 2023 in Cork, Ireland. After three years, we’re ready to get together in person to make plans and share ideas.
You may be wondering why it’s not in North America, since the last two Flocks were in Europe. We had planned to hold it in the United States this year, but the wait for visas made this impossible for some of our contributors. Although we know not everyone can join us in Cork, we want to make it as available as possible.
You may also be wondering about the call for proposals, travel funding, and so on. Stay tuned for that information soon. In the meantime, clear your calendar. We’ll see you in Cork!
Any updates on this? Venue at least? Cork can be expensive in August since it’s tourist season and it’s a relatively small (in area) city, so the sooner the rough area the conference takes place it’s known the sooner people can book accommodation.
