Here’s your report of what has happened in Fedora this week. System-Wide Change proposals for Fedora 34 or Changes that require a mass rebuild are due by Tuesday 29 December.
This is the last Fedora program update for 2020! There will be no FPgM office hours until Wednesday, 9 January 2021.
Earlier this year, we announced the initial availability of discounted Lenovo ThinkPad laptops with Fedora Workstation. This discount was available to US and Canada for all Fedora contributors with “CLA +1“. Today, I’m excited to announce that Lenovo has expanded the discount to much of Europe!

Continue readingHere’s your report of what has happened in Fedora this week. EPEL 6 has reached end-of-life. Fedora 34 Change proposal which require infrastructure changes are due on Wednesday, 16 December. Congratulations to the newly-elected members of Council, FESCo, and Mindshare.
As a lot of you might know, we have started our journey towards revamping Fedora’s outreach efforts. In this process, we have come to a state where we urge the community members to ask us questions and discuss the progress of the revamp process.
We are holding an Ask Me Anything (AMA) on December 10th 2020 at 1500 UTC in the Mindshare Matrix channel. To facilitate, we have a discourse thread for the community to post their questions in advance. Of course, we will also accept questions on the day of the AMA.
The FCAIC along with the Taskforce Co-leads will answer the questions.
The Fedora 33 election cycle has concluded. Here are the results for each election. Congratulations to the winning candidates, and thank you all candidates for running in this election!
